Teoshaku avattu! / Call for Scores is open!

TEOSHAKU: Tampering Festival, 17.-20.8.2022

Tampering ry järjestää teoshaun vuoden 2022 Tampering Festivalia varten.
Teoshaku sulkeutuu 22.5.2022 klo 23.59.

Festivaaliohjelma koostuu muun muassa viimeaikaisiin maailmantapahtumiin heijastuvista sävellyksistä. Haemmekin teoksia jotka ovat syntyneet koronakriisin ja muutenkin poikkeuksellisten vuosien aikana.
 
Haemme teoksia erityisesti seuraavilla kriteereillä:
1. Teos on sävelletty vuosien 2020-2022 aikana
2. Teoksen kokoonpano koostuu Tampering Ensemblen soittimista
 
Tampering Ensemble lähtökohtaisesti:
sopraano, 2x huilu/piccolo, oboe/englannintorvi, klarinetti/bassoklarinetti, käyrätorvi, 2x viulu, alttoviulu, sello, kontrabasso, piano, trumpetti, tuuba, kitara, harmonikka, lyömäsoittimet

Vaikka teoksesi ei täysin täyttäisi edellä mainittuja kriteerejä, voit silti osallistua ja katsomme soveltuisiko se kuitenkin osaksi festivaaliohjelmaa. Teoksen kestoa ei ole rajattu, teoksia voi lähettää useita ja teoshaku on kaikille avoin, mutta Tampering ry:n jäsenet ovat etusijalla. Jos et vielä ole jäsen ja haluaisit liittyä, onnistuu se helposti osoitteessa www.tampering.fi.

Teoshaun käsittelee riippumaton työryhmä, joka koostuu muun muassa festivaalin esiintyjistä ja säveltäjistä, jotka eivät ole osallistumassa teoshakuun.
 
Toimita teoksen partituuri PDF-muodossa ja mahdollinen äänite sähköpostitse joko tiedostoina tai linkkinä osoitteeseen tamperingry(at)gmail.com. Laita sähköpostiviestin otsikoksi “Teoshaku Tampering Festival 2022”. Samaan sähköpostiosoitteeseen voi esittää myös teoshakuun liittyviä kysymyksiä.

CALL FOR SCORES: Tampering Festival, August 17-20, 2022

Tampering ry is organizing a call for scores for the Tampering Festival 2022. The call for scores closes on May 22, 2022 at 11:59 pm.

The programme for the festival consists of compositions more or less reflecting on the recent world events. We are looking for works composed during the Covid crisis and these exceptional years.

We are especially looking for works that meet the following criteria:
1. The work has been composed during the years 2020-2022
2. The work consists mostly of instruments present in the Tampering Ensemble

Tampering Ensemble in principle:
soprano, 2x flute/piccolo, oboe / cor anglais, clarinet / bass clarinet, french horn, 2x violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, trumpet, tuba, guitar, accordion, percussion

Even if your work does not completely meet these criteria you are still free to participate: we will determine whether the work would nonetheless fit our festival programme. There are no restrictions for the duration of the work and the participants are free to send several works. The call for scores is open to all although members of Tampering ry are given priority when selecting the works. If you are not a member and would like to join you can do it easily at www.tampering.fi.

The selection process is going to be handled by an independent team that consists of for example performers of the festival and composers who will not be participating in the call for scores.

Deliver the full score in PDF format and any possible recording of the work via email, either by file or by link, to the address tamperingry(at)gmail.com. Title the email “Call for Scores Tampering Festival 2022.” If you have any questions feel free to contact us via the same email address.
